Every weekend DJ Katie Drover sits comfortably at the controls in one of Melbourne’s thriving clubbing spots with the dancefloor hanging on her every move. Not bad for a player who spends her days working as a mathematician.

Such is the depth of her experience that, since cutting her teeth at Room680 in 2002, Drover has played just about everywhere you can imagine in a city known for its long-standing commitment to electronic music: from Tramp, in the basement of a strip club underneath the notorious King Street, to closing sets on an enormous stage at internationally acclaimed Falls Festival on New Year’s Eve, to her regular appearances at infamous Melbourne nightspots such as Revolver and OneSixOne, at Sydney’s Mardi Gras, and at countless other music festivals such as Summadayze and Future Music Festival, not to mention in the back of a ute for the opening of the AFL Grand Final, the launch of the Honda Jazz, and as an ambassador for Pioneer Pro DJ.

Then, when you consider her ongoing commitment to her Speaker Syrup program on Proton Radio, plus previous radio work on Kiss FM and a monthly residency on Triple J, it becomes clear that Drover’s commitment to the craft of DJing is all-encompassing.

Few would disagree that the sky's the limit for Katie Drover. With production being next on her list of things to conquer, her determination to succeed will no doubt see her continue to break boundaries on and off the dancefloor.

Rejoining the fold is Derek {K} who needs no introduction to Australia's clubbing community. A longtime resident at the now legendary Onelove and Famous club nights and has rocked the main stages of Summadayze, Parklife, Falls Festival, Good Vibes, Future Music Festival and Stereosonic. Feeling the need for some time-out from a hectic touring schedule in 2010 Derek departed on a spiritual journey to another world. A huge contrast to his former life, Derek packed up his worldly possessions and travelled to India and the jungles of Indonesia where he lived, meditated and studied with buddhist monks, sometimes without contact to the outside world for months on end. Check out this amazing photo below of one of the monastaries he lived!

Blac List Artists is very happy to announce that Derek has returned from his journey and is ready to rock the house once more. Derek isn't just back on the club circuit as a DJ, he has a heap of new releases in the pipe line including a first release of that all time epic track 'This Is' which although being championed by Carl Cox, Felix Da Housecat, Junior Sanchez, Erol Alkan and Jacques Lu Cont never saw an official release!

Not constrained to just playing mind numbing music, Nick's rich musical palette sees him able to shake many dance floors. Stuck somewhere between a music nerd and a jock, Nick simply loves absorbing himself in the hunt for new and innovative music.

Nick holds residencies at Melbourne best clubs nights including The Likes of You, Revolver Fridays, and Mink Sundays to name a few.

Nick has only been a huge part of Melbourne’s underground scene for years and has made his mark as a versatile minimal tech DJ.

It was a passion for music, partying and a love for all things late-night that led Elaina Musto into becoming a DJ.

From her humble beginnings in 2009 at Seven nightclub, Elaina has notched up a series of gigs at notorious Melbourne nightspots; from intimate bar gigs at Hoo Haa, Rah Bar and Cushion, to guest spots at clubs such as Boutique and One Six One.

It could be said that Elaina has risen to become a femme fatal in a male dominated industry, and as such, her talent and fun-loving attitude cannot be denied. An extremely versatile DJ, Elaina is just as at home behind the decks at a corporate event as she is at an underground night club.

Unfortunately, today’s electronic music scene has in many ways deteriorated into a mess of two‐bit‐venues full of 18 year old promoter DJs, who have little knowledge of music and zilch credibility.

It’s sad, we know. Well, can we please put our proverbial hands together, and resentfully applaud the man who started it all – Dwayne Thompson!

From being the original snotty‐nosed promoter DJ at the tender age of 16 (coordinating Melbourne’s biggest underage events), to acquiring every decent residency under our scorching metropolitan night’s sky by 18 (you can tell by his disco tan, yeah?), including onesixone, The Motel, Cushion and a blurry/hazy three year roller coaster ride at Q Bar – Dwayne has forever broken the boogie barriers and done the dirty disco deeds before his peers. Not to mention he was getting paid far too much, and having more fun than you can poke a heavily stacked wad of drink cards at.

Aside from single‐handedly fucking “The Industry”, Dwayne has in fact done a few respectable things here and there, and played many headlining gigs and worked with crews including The Likes of You, Loud Promotions, Draw 4, Birdhouse, Unlucky and Public Liability (to name a few), developing a loyal and often inebriated fan base. These networks have enabled Dwayne to regularly visit QLD and tour Ibiza, London and Switzerland.

DT’s style has matured from a commercial mash‐up vibe to what is now a mixed bag of house, tech‐house and techno, perhaps a reflection of his many years behind the decks, or maybe just an indication of his general awesomeness and telepathic crowd‐reading abilities. Whatever it is, he makes da bitchez scream.

In a more professional light, Dwayne’s involvement in the electronic and live music industries should be recognised, with his reputation as a promoter‐come‐DJ‐comePR‐ consultant leading him to join the team at Future Entertainment. His role ‐ the Melbourne Promotions Manager – involves coordinating the Likes of You and Future Festivals ‐ delivering quality events, tours and festivals around Australia.

In 2009/2010, Dwayne has maintained his role as everybody’s favourite imaginary disc‐jockey friend, casually blurring the genres between House, Tech House, Electro and Techno he has graced the stage playing alongside Sven Vath, Loco Dice, D.I.M, Daniel Steinberg, BoysNoize and James Zabiela (again, naming only a few), at some of Australia’s biggest festivals and high profile events; Future Music Festival, Sidetracked (Australian F1 Grand Prix) Summadayze, The Hot Barbeque, St Kilda Beach Party & Winter Sound System.

Why does an Eastern European looking male live and DJ in Australia - But is called China? Is it due to his Confucius like wisdom, or perhaps he makes a wicked lemon chicken? Regardless of why, China is a DJ who truly is making his mark.

A regular at some of the biggest club brands in Melbourne, China is expanding his eclectic mix with a strong and current blend for today's dance floors. Forever a happy chappie, China is always eager to mix things up wherever he plays. Now is that beef with black bean sauce ready yet?
